Online Cooking Classes

Join my online lessons!

I invite you to join my small group online cooking classes, where you’ll learn new kitchen skills, gain confidence in the kitchen, be inspired by new recipes and indulge in some tasty home cooked eats. 

Throughout the class I will demo everything you need to know, including tricky knife skills, give tips and pointers and be able to answer any of your personal queries.

I keep the group sizes small with a maximum of 6 participants so that its easy for everyone to interact with me and each other. This provides a fun opportunity to come online and connect over food. The quantities we will cook will be enough for two people, so suitable for sharing with your partner, or if it’s just you, for putting in the fridge to enjoy the following day. 

Five days before the class I will send out an ingredients and equipment list – keeping things as simple as possible, and offer substitutions just in case you can’t find what you need at the supermarket. Everyone will be provided with a recipe sheet to keep. 

You can join me from anywhere in the world, so far I’ve loved connecting with folk as far away as Washington DC and Dublin, or as near as my South East London neighbours. We’re now heading into our 4th month of online cooking together, and it’s been incredible to see over 50% of attendees rebook for additional classes.

*How to approach cooking and plating a dish with 3-4 elements
*How to season to taste – the key to great tasting restaurant quality food at home
*Making your dish look great, tips on garnishes
*Tips on reheating and repurposing leftovers

Plus all participants will receive a discount for my seasonal suppers ebook which includes recipes from 10 of my classes

Basic equipment required to take part
*Oven, grill & hob
*Chopping board and sharp knife
*Saucepan, frying pan, mixing bowls, baking tray, wooden spoon
*Measuring jug
*A basic food processor or blender (immersion or jug) will be helpful. Let me know if you don’t have one when booking.

All cooking classes will take place via Zoom software, and a link will be set out prior to class.


Hi, I'm Ceri, a Food Educator and Chef

I coach people to become confident cooks through my online cooking classes, foolproof recipes, and tip videos.

Whether you’re a novice or confident cook you are most welcome here. I can help you achieve your goal of trying new dishes, honing your skills and technique, and for you to have fun with presentation.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. I am not available for these classes, will there be another opportunity to join the class?  
I am also offering private group or 1:1 classes. Please email me info@cerijoneschef.com to discuss options. 

2. I don’t have access to a computer/laptop can I still join the class?
Yes, if you are able to use zoom on your mobile that should be fine.

3. I like the sound of the meat/fish class but I am vegetarian, can I still join?
Yes, please let me know via your booking form and I will provide an alternative to the meat/fish for you. For example the chicken skewers can be replaced with tofu. 

4. Will you be scheduling classes in future months also?
Yes, It’s been fantastic having guests who live too far away to attend my events in London, so lockdown or no lockdown I will be keeping up on-line classes for the foreseeable. 

5. I would love to join a class but would prefer different recipes?
Please send me your ideas and I will factor that into future planning
